Optimity were chosen by Mitsubishi Estates to provide connectivity and IT services to the tenants of The London Studios, on the south bank of the Thames.

The London Studios, also previously known as The London Television Centre, provides over 270,000 sq ft of office and studio space in a stunning location stepped in history. The 2.5 acre estate was vacated by ITV in April 2018 and Optimity were engaged by Mitsubishi Estates in February 2020.

The first priority was to provide connectivity and IT services to the building that was already being marketed to tenants of the property, on the south bank of the Thames. Optimity were able to get the main tower fully connected with 10Gb internet access across all floors within nine days of an order.

Once live, this prestigious project on one of London's most recognised landmarks, took full advantage of our assessments, knowledge and expertise to transform an empty shell into a flexible workspace that delivered an "always live" connected environment.

The mix of tenants on this project has been diverse with media and film production companies finding the property perfectly suited to their needs. The entire 24 floors of the tower are connected with a resilient service, and detailed drawings have formed the heart of the bespoke collateral with both core and additional revenue options.
